About Us
Established in 2022, Shone Geotechnical has a hard working team of geotechnical engineers, environmental scientists, and drillers who share a variety of experience across the ground investigation industry. We work closely with our preferred subcontractors to deliver everything from one off water wells, all the way up to project management and execution of the most challenging projects in ground investigation.

Our Services
Many site investigations will start with a Phase I report, which can be used to gather data before boots hit the ground. After our engineers deliver your Phase I Desk Study report, they can talk you through the planning of appropriate planning for an intrusive investigation to accomplish your goals. Our team can then execute this plan, and draft a Phase II factual or interpretive report, according to your needs. We can integrate, geotechnical testing, GIS data, environmental testing, and mapping to provide a comprehensive report. Whether you need to satisfy a local council or use local information to inform your foundation design, we can tailor the project to your needs.
Many of our smaller clients do not have their own infrastructure to manage such large scale projects. Our depth and breadth of experience suits us to managing complex projects from conception to completion. Permitting, health and safety, timetabling, and subcontractor management, as well as any other loose ends, are safe in our hands.
We often have enquiries from farmers and small landowners about well installation. Our in house cable percussion drilling, combined with expert rotary drilling subcontractors, allow us to deliver wells at unbeatable prices.
Boreholes
When our smaller clients ask for boreholes outside the scope of ground investigation, we can tailor them to the needs of the client. We work hand in hand with farmers who require wells for abstraction. From initial surveying, to permitting, and through drilling and installation, we manage the whole process to deliver a complete and functioning well ready and pumping.
